KM07 matt Portoro
The Portoro marble-effect ceramic meticulously replicates the exquisite stone of the same name that is extracted from the Ligurian quarries in northern Italy. Its name comes from the area where the largest quarries are located. Initially called Portovenere marble, it was later renamed Port d 'Or during the French occupation and finally translated into Italian as Porta d 'Oro, to become Portoro, a name by which it is now known all over the world. Its texture stands out for the dark and intense base and the warm veins that look like lively brushstrokes. This ceramic is available in the Glossy and Matt versions. The top of a table or desk in Portoro adds a refined and classic touch to a room; a designer ceramic cabinet with its scattered and contrasting veins, makes it possible to decorate a wall in the same way as with a contemporary work of art; or again, a mixture of ceramic coffee tables with different heights and sizes allows you to create your own personal pattern by placing ceramic slabs with different striations side by side.
The slabs in the Keramik collection are produced using a wet milling process involving natural products such as quarry clays, granite rocks and ceramic pigments, followed by compacting and firing. Cleaning your ceramic: all you need is a sponge soaked in a normal liquid detergent or limescale gel product; very abrasive products and steam cleaners should be avoided.Clean immediately while the stain is still fresh.
