KM21 Colosseo
The Colosseo finish is a decorative ceramic that is as simple as it is majestic. This travertine-effect porcelain stoneware accurately reproduces the typical stone of central Italy used since ancient Roman times. It’s no coincidence that the name evokes the era’s most imposing monument that has survived to this day, itself made from travertine.
The colouring of the Colosseo marble-effect ceramic ranges from milky white to walnut, with soft, warm shades in dotted patterns. Thanks to cutting-edge precision techniques, the small cavities characteristic of the original stone are reproduced with a textured effect that is slightly grainy to the touch.
This ceramic is at its most striking when paired with natural woods and metallic finishes in muted colours. Ceramic tables, desks and consoles are just some of the furnishings that can be incorporated into a travertine interior design project.
The ceramic tops are produced using a wet grinding process on natural products, such as quarry clays, granite rocks and ceramic pigments, followed by subsequent compaction and firing.Porcelain stoneware care tips: if you have doubts about how to clean ceramic tops, simply use a sponge soaked in normal liquid detergent or an anti-limescale gel product. Avoid very abrasive products and steam cleaners. Clean immediately while the stain is still fresh.
